Notes: This recording has been an oddity for me. Just because this was released back in 2005 with little to no information on it. The text files said it was recorded by "stealth" but had no equipment info. Someone emailed me in 2010 saying that this was probably their recording and gave me their equipment info. But I wasn't too sure by it until I heard a copy from them. I never received it... Finally in 2013 I got this version and since both tapers would go to shows together, stand in the same spot, and tape with basically the EXACT equipment I needed some time to listen to both tapes to see if they were in fact different. They were not different. Both versions of this recording just have a different EQ. As you can hear in the beginning of "The Wretched" there is a volume boost right after the notes start hitting. So, unfortunately we do not have source 4 that is listed below. But I am glad to finally resolve this and get a definitive conclusion as to what source it is!

Notes: This is also a good source from this night. The mic does overload at certain points and the taper messes with the level of the recording throughout (see Even Deeper sample). Unfortunately, when the taper uploaded this, there was an error in distribution. "Starfuckers Inc." is only about 3 seconds long, but the FLAC file that is in the folder matches the FLAC fingerprints in the text file. Meaning that there was an error on their end when saving the "Starfuckers Inc." track. Which is Track 19. In order to get a complete copy, we would need for Soulflyer to bring up a new copy.

Notes: Was recently back in San Diego for a wedding and I made a few trips to pick up some miniDV and HDV masters up in Los Angeles. Huge haul and I'm excited to be working on it. Just be coincidence, TIMP had gotten his master tapes back from his friend that has been holding onto them at the same time. Back in 2010, I got a lot of his masters from transfer that had been done long ago. They were done through the line out/headphone jack and I knew that doing an optical transfer could optimize the recordings. I had just told him to keep me in the loop with/when he ever was able to get his tapes back. To get back to the story, he was kind enough to bring them over to me so I can transfer them once I get back home! Huge! There was a lot of tapes that I did not have, including this one. Tape sounds excellent! Again, huge thanks for TIMP allowing me to take his master tapes to work on. Great to revisit these tapes again and get the proper transfers of them! At this point, this is the first time this SF night 1 recording has been released. PS - MD flip comes before Wish.
