Notes: Taper notes: "I cannot state how much a great time I've had the last four days with Ryan and Adam from NIN Live and Mark from LP Live. You won't find more kind folks out there. I had an absolute blast and am sad that this leg of shows is already at an end. Let's do it again soon! The last show of the southeast leg of shows and Nine Inch Nails did not disappoint. A great mix of bangers and rarities. Was nice to see some newer songs played as well. The band seemed in fine form and the light show was one again insane. Cannot wait to see them again, debating trying to swing Philly. Also filmed in 4K."

Notes: Franklin is just outside of Nashville and this is a brand new amphitheater. It's in an old quarry transformed into a nice music venue. The place has bad reviews on getting out afterwards, which are pretty accurate but otherwise this was an extremely enjoyable night. We grabbed brunch in downtown Franklin, hit a brewery later in the day with TJ and got to the show nice and early. Security and staff were super nice at this one. We had seats for this show on the left stack, just behind the pit. The sound was quite low in my opinion when the show started but they bumped it big time on Burn into Survivalism which was good and by the end it was a normal show volume. Terrible Lie didn't have a big punch as the opener though. The setlist was great, with the newer songs and deeper cuts. We also lucked out at this show with a good crowd around us and no screamers in front of us or near us in the seats. The lights on the quarry walls changed on some of the songs (green on Reptile, etc) which was SO cool to see. Ryan, Adam and I rocked all show and had such a great time. After the show while waiting to get out of the lot, Ryan started editing the show standing outside of the car! Wild. And it was uploaded while we were on the way to the hotel - now that' commitment. Overall the 3 show run was just incredible. Let's do it again soon!

Notes: I've been working on this off/on for almost 2 years now. A few times the project files did not sync to my Google Drive, losing everything. So starting over each time just seemed like a chore. But I finally found the motivation to really knock it out. I am usually not one to talk up recordings, but this is the best recording/representation of the NIN 2022 tour. I have meticulously mixed all of the sources for this one and went through removing each click from the feeds individually to give a clean version of each song. This run of shows (Raleigh, Atlanta, Franklin) was very special for me, personally. Not only was it post COVID lockdown to see my favorite band's first shows since 2018/pandemic. But I was also able to spend some time with my brother and good friends, Mark from lplive and TJ of ratm.live. As for many, the two years prior were pretty tough not seeing shows and not being able to converse with others in person about our favorite hobby, taping! Met a lot of people throughout the 3 days and it was great to talk with everyone about Nine Inch Nails and the archive. It took awhile to get out of the parking lot here in Franklin after the show, so it was cool to sit with everyone after the show and transfer the tapes to our laptops! Not to get too sentimental... let's talk about the show! First off, the venue was pretty amazing. Sitting down in an old rock quarry. A very cool venue! I would definitely go back to see a show there. The sound was great from where we sat, about 7 rows back from the left section in line with the stack. The bass was pretty overpowering throughout the shows and felt the A10 wasn't handling it well at the prior two. So I used my M10 for this show, which helped. I don't know if it was a noise ordinance or what, but up until Burn the PA system was dialed down. It was only during this song did they turn up the PA and being at the show there was a noticeable difference from then on. Atlanta saw the return of 'Heresy' in to the set and I was happy to see it at the Franklin show too! Highlight of the night was seeing 'The Line Begins To Blur' performed for the first time since 2009. Trent stopped to talk a few times throughout the show and I think even he was happy to be back on stage and out of the studio cave. I am really happy how this recording came out. It is definitely the best tape of the tour and represents it well. I would say it rivals any soundboard release. But I also could be biased. Thank you to ToolDVN and anonymous for sending over their IEM feeds after the show to work on. Let's hope that 2024 may see NIN back on stage, but I am not expecting it. Enjoy!
